These terms apply to all use of this website and by using this website you agree that you have read and accept these terms.

You may as part of your use copy electronically and print portions of the website but you should not use such access or content to generate income of any kind. Any other use of materials on this website (including without limitation reproduction for a purpose other than that noted above and any modification, distribution or republication) without our prior written permission is prohibited. In particular, you may not use any data, research or information made available on or by this website in connection with any business or commercial undertaking (whether or not for profit).The intellectual property in all design, text, graphics and other material and the selection or arrangement of such material in this website is owned by us and/or our respective licensors.

Our Rules

These Rules (including our Privacy Policy) govern the use of www.oxbridgeapplications.com and set out the terms of the contract between Application Research Ltd (“us/we") and each User.

A User can apply to register with Oxbridge Applications by filling out the registration form and submitting it online. Each User can then use Oxbridge Applications to find useful information about applying to Oxford and Cambridge Universities. 

If you apply to register with Oxbridge Applications you accept these rules.Our Privacy Policy (which is part of these Rules) sets out the information that we will gather on users of www.oxbridgeapplications.com and how his/her registration information will be used and who it may be shared with. It is included on certain other materials we publish and is available from us.

We will comply with our Privacy Policy – every user of this site should read it carefully.If a website user notifies us that they do not wish to receive marketing information from us or be contacted by us for promotional purposes in connection with Application Research Ltd, or its sister company, (Bright London (UK) Limited), Application Research will comply with such requests and pass on any relevant request to its sister organisation.  If for any reason we need to transfer personal information outside the European Union for a specific purpose, we will ensure that it is treated to UK standards.

If a User thinks an unauthorised person has become aware of any User password, they should contact Application Research immediately. W

e cannot be responsible for any unauthorised activity on www.oxbridgeapplications.comWe may remove any Registered User from the www.oxbridgeapplications.com  at any time and for any reason. We may also, on notifying the Registered User, immediately suspend or terminate the rights of any Registered User,  if they breach these Rules, if we reasonably believe that they have acted in a manner not permitted by these Rules, if there is any theft from or misconduct in connection with us, if they supply false or misleading information to us or if they are abusive or offensive to any member of our staff or other Registered User.

A Registered User can close his/her Oxbridge Applications Usership at any time by notifying us.

If a Registered User’s membership is closed his/her rights to access any aspect of Oxbridge Applications services are lost.We may make changes to these Rules and will give the Registered User as much notice as we reasonably can.

We may suspend or terminate Application Research Ltd but will give as much notice as we reasonably can before we do so. If this happens all Registered Userships will be suspended or terminated.

If we sell or transfer Applications to another company we may transfer all of our rights and obligations under these Rules without any further consent and may disclose or transfer all information we hold about Registered Users or prospective Registered Users to a prospective or actual new owner. Such a disclosure or transfer will not alter the rights of such Registered Users in respect of the use that can be made of such information by such other company.

Application Research tries to keep www.oxbridgeapplications.com safe for all members. It is the bright thing to do to make sure you know some examples of what keeping the website safe really means: You will not send or otherwise post unauthorised commercial communications (such as spam) on www.oxbridgeapplications.com.You will not upload viruses or other malicious code. You will not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence. You will not offer any contest, giveaway, or sweepstakes ("promotion") on www.oxbridgeapplications.com without our prior written consent. You will not use www.oxbridgeapplications.com to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory. You will not do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working of www.oxbridgeapplications.com, such as a denial of service attack. You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of these Rules.

Our only responsibilities with respect to Application Research are set out in these Rules which are subject to English law. We will only be liable to a Registered User who suffers loss as a result of our breach of these Rules and, if so, our sole liability will be to correct any information held about the Registered User that can be proven incorrect.

These Rules shall not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

These Rules prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.You can contact us by logging onto our website or by calling the Application Research offices or writing to us at Application Research’s registered office address. We may record calls to check the quality of our services or for training, audit or security purposes.

Oxbridge Applications Privacy Policy

What information will we use?
By becoming a user of www.oxbridgeapplications.com or a customer of Oxbridge Applications services and/or products,  we will collect and use information about you. This information includes your registration details, information about your application and other information that you give us at the time of registration or following personal communication with us, over the telephone, email, in person or in writing.

Who will we share your information with?
We will only share your information within the Application Research group and its sister company Bright London (UK) Limited.

How will your information be used?
We and our sister company we share your information with may analyse and use your information to target through post, email and telephone contact relevant and focused product suggestions. We may also use the information you provide us for our research and marketing purposes. We keep  all such information confidential.

If you do not wish to receive marketing material and/or any information about Application Research, you must terminate your registration with www.oxbridgeapplications.com by contacting  Application Research.  You can contact us by logging onto our website www.oxbridgeapplications.com or by calling Application Research’s registered offices or writing to us at Application Research’s registered office address. We may record calls to check the quality of our services or for training, audit or security purposes.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Anyone who purchases a product or service from Application Research Ltd (“client), either via the website, www.oxbridgeapplications.com, email, telephone or in person, agrees to adhere to the following refund and cancellation policy.

The Premier Service
Please refer to separate terms and conditions, as outlined in the Premier Service contract that each client signs on initiation of the Service.
 
Private Consultations
If a client wishes to cancel a Private Consultation, the client must give Application Research at least 48-hours’ notice.  If a client cancels within the 48-hour period, the full fee (“£220”) of the Private Consultation must  be paid to Application Research Ltd.

Interview Preparation Weekend
If a client wishes to cancel a place at the Interview Preparation Weekend, the client must give Application Research at least 7 days notice.  If a client cancels within the 7-day period, the full fee (“£1400”) of the Interview Preparation Weekend must  be paid to Application Research Ltd.

Interview Preparation Day
If a client wishes to cancel a place at an Interview Preparation Day, the client must give Application Research at least 48-hours’ notice.  If a client cancels within the 48-hour period, the full package fee agreed at the time of booking, of the Interview Preparation Day must  be paid to Application Research Ltd.

Admissions Test Seminar
If a client wishes to cancel a place at an Admissions Test Seminar, the client must give Application Research at least 48-hours’ notice.  If a client cancels within the 48-hour period, the full package fee agreed at the time of booking, of the Admissions Test Seminar must  be paid to Application Research Ltd.

Mock Admissions Tests
Our Mock-Admissions Tests are non-refundable.

Course & College Reports
Our Course and College Reports are non-refundable

Disclaimer

Oxbridge Applications is purely an advisory service. The information and preparation we offer should be taken in that context. We cannot guarantee an applicant a place at any university. As such, Application Research Ltd. is not liable for any applicant’s unsuccessful application. Although we strive to ensure the accuracy of our information, we cannot guarantee it and Oxbridge Applications accepts no liability whatsoever if the information it provides proves to be incorrect or if an applicant acts differently to how he or she would have acted without the services of Oxbridge Applications. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
