Admissions Tests Seminars

To help applicants with their admissions test preparation, we have designed one-day seminar events for the BMAT, Cambridge Law Test, ELAT, HAT, LNAT, TSA Cambridge and TSA Oxford.

On the day, applicants sit a mock test taken in examination conditions, have a class on best-practice answers and test strategy. In addition, the mock test is marked and then returned within ten days of the seminar.

How many places?

Admissions tests are designed to test the analytical abilities required in the ideal student, and an while they do test a certain innate ability, we believe it is a very good idea to do some preparation in advance, as they test an aptitude to perform well in a stressful environment, beyond the experience of in-school examinations.

Structure of the Admissions Test Seminars

10.30	Arrival and Registration
11.00	Class on Test Strategy	Applicants receive expert advice on the test methodology, gain a thorough knowledge of the test format and are given a detailed insight into the expectations of the examiners.
12.30	Lunch
13.00	Mock Test	Applicants sit a mock test under exam conditions, increasing their confidence answering test questions under time pressure and improving their familiarity with the format.
15.00	Break
15.15	Review of the Mock Test	Our experts take applicants through a class of best-practice answers and address any corrections and concerns.
17.15	Question and Answer	Our experts answer any questions applicants may have
17.30	End of Day
Within 10 days	Test is marked and returned to the applicant in the post
