A-level re-marks

New doubts about the ability of the exam boards to manage the huge number of papers sat and ensure fair marking. At some schools in the UK a quarter of all exam scripts were sent back for review with some schools reporting that they saw significant grade increases in almost 1/3 of their scripts.

Marina Lindsey Brown, who almost lost her place to read English at Cambridge until her B grade in German gained 17 more marks, pushing her up to an A, would recommend that anyone who is unsure of their mark query it with their school and the exam board.  She starts at Cambridge on 1st October.
