Our Consultants

All our Consultants are graduates of either Oxford or Cambridge University.  On a daily basis they are immersed in the world of Oxbridge applications, and, having been through the application process themselves (and succeeded!), they are well placed to help support your application.

James Uffindell, Company Founder

James read PPE at Mansfield College, Oxford, specialising in British Politics and Economics. He founded Oxbridge Applications back in 1999, and to date has helped over 45,000 students apply to Britain's leading universities. He has been featured on BBC Radio 4 and Channel 4 News, and is an advisor to the Times Education Forum on Oxbridge issues. In 2008 James founded Bright, a boutique careers’ consultancy, which supports the brightest graduates and undergraduates in their search for the perfect career. You can hear James in action on BBC Radio 4's Learning Curve programme here.
