Interview Preparation Weekend

Friday 29th October to Sunday 31st October 2010

The Interview Preparation Weekend is our most comprehensive preparation event. On our annual residential course applicants are joined by former admissions tutors and recent Oxbridge graduates for total immersion in the interview process. Combining academic workshops, subject mock interviews and communication skills sessions, applicants receive unsurpassed guidance and insights to enable them to perform to their full potential in academic interviews.

Our Interview Preparation Weekend includes:

- Five mock interviews (including one with a former admissions tutor, and one panel interview)

- Interactive interview skills workshops with our communications expert

- Subject-specific tutorial and supervision sessions designed to help applicants think logically, creatively and laterally under pressure

- A subject-specific mentor for each applicant to provide subject guidance and bespoke support

- A personalised subject-specific Interview Preparation Report, written by Oxbridge graduates, with exclusive insights into chosen course, recommended reading lists and former interview questions

Our Programme

The Interview Preparation Weekend programme helps applicants develop the interview technique, communication skills and academic approach which they will need to show in a successful interview.

It also gives applicants an unrivalled opportunity to put this theory into practice sit five mock interviews with subject and interview experts.

When and Where

Our 2010 Interview Preparation Weekend will be held from Friday 29th October to Sunday 31st October (the last weekend of half term).

The course is held at Wokefield Park, a luxury hotel near Reading. With its exceptional features and historic surroundings, the hotel offers the perfect environment in which to focus on applying to Oxford or Cambridge.
