module_callus_school_hsd.jpgFor all students there are three main challenges in the Oxbridge admissions process: taking the brave decision to apply, really understanding the admissions process and finally knowing how to prepare to make the most of their academic potential.

Our Head Start Days are one-day courses run for Year 12 students who are thinking about applying to Oxford or Cambridge in the following autumn. To run the event our Oxbridge consultants come to your school. The aim of the day is twofold: dispelling the myths of applying to Oxford and Cambridge, as well as giving your students expert advice on how to use their academic potential to gain an offer.

Students learn about what they will gain by applying to Oxbridge, get an insight into what the admissions tutors are really looking for and are taken step by step through the admissions process. The day ends with a mock interview for each student, during which they can put theory into practice, followed by a consultation on what they can do to improve.

The event costs £70 per student and we ask for a minimum of 10 students per event. Schools with fewer than ten potential Oxbridge candidates should not be put off. Many schools invite students from neighbouring schools to ensure a well-attended event.
