- Started preparing but now want more personalised advice to improve your score?
Our Admissions Test Preparation is run through our
sister company, Ascend. Through Ascend we offer admissions preparation
support not just to Oxbridge applicants but to students applying to all
of Britain’s leading universities. Ascend offers guidance to applicants preparing for admissions tests through online advice, mock tests, Seminars and mentoring.
93% of students rate the Admissions Test Seminars in 2007 as
'outstanding' or 'good'
Our Admissions Test Seminars are one
day events which give applicants a chance to meet our expert Test
Consultants and hear from them what it is that examiners are looking
for in the Admissions Test. The Seminars are a fantastic opportunity
for applicants to ask the Test Consultants any questions they may have
regarding the Test.
The Seminars take place at the London School of Economics (LSE) and
include an interactive presentation on test methodology and approach.
Applicants sit a mock test under exam conditions after which our Test
Consultant will take them through the correct answers, explanations and
examples. Each test taken at the Seminar is marked and returned to the
applicant after the event.

Testimonial:
"The Admissions Test Seminar was definitely beneficial and really good
value. The presenter had a really thorough understanding of the test
and how it worked. Example questions and their answers were well
demonstrated and we received really useful feedback. Going through
each answer was incredibly helpful in understanding what they [the
Examiners] are looking for and I was really impressed that the essay
was marked at the end. I was so nervous about the test beforehand, but
came away feeling calm, collected and confident. And finally, it was
really fun to meet other Medical candidates!"
