Oxbridge Applications currently has four full time consultants, all of whom are Oxbridge graduates. Our consultants are your first point of contact and can advise on all aspects of Oxbridge entry. They work in constant communication with our advisory board.

James Uffindell, CEO and Company Founder
James studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Mansfield, Oxford, specialising in British Politics and Economic Theory. Since founding Oxbridge Applications in 1999, James has been responsible for supporting over 50,000 Oxbridge applicants. He has featured on BBC Radio 4 and The Channel Four news, and as an advisor to the Times Education Forum on Oxbridge issues. |

Rachel Spedding, Managing Director
Rachel read History at Worcester College, Oxford. She started her career working as a researcher for Sir David Frost, and went on to work on a number of documentaries for the BBC and Channel 4. She joined Oxbridge Applications in 2009, after working for a public relations consultancy, where she provided strategic communications advice to a range of corporate and educational organisations.

Jane Welsh, Senior Education Director
Jane was an academic and sporting scholar at New College, Oxford, where she read History and won two Blues for Oxford University. She has been working in education since 2003 as a tutor and specialist in interview technique and in 2009 managed the Oxbridge Applications Premier Service. Jane has produced theatre internationally through her award-winning production company Temple Theatre.

Alexandra Tyson, Consultant
Alexandra read Physiological Sciences at University College, Oxford, specialising in Neuroscience. During her time at Oxford she helped welcome new students to college as part of the Freshers Committee and participated in the Annual Fund Telethon, raising money for the college. She worked as a tutor for Oxbridge Applications for a year before joining the team in summer 2009.
